....Alright. Here's the real story. Don't listen to what those bulletins for my capture have to say.

I can't really talk about those bolded out parts, as even I have no clue what they're going on about. But, isn't it funny how there's no explanation for WHY I must be captured? If only the people of this city used their brains more...

Damn straight I'm still in the city. I'm not abandoning my people. But I'm not just sitting idly by waiting for them to find me. And they're wrong about no one being able to work with me- I have a growing team of individuals who are helping with my research. Things are going to take a while- my very limited resources make this a challenge- but I know I can do it. I know we can do it.

They're also wrong about the device. Its very much anything but harmless. Sure, it's still a prototype- I can't really determine where the destination will be until we're on the other side. So I can't really use it to get around within Phaeton- at least, not until I can perfect it. But it can be used for something much greater- we can bring in allies from other worlds, if such a thing is possible.

They have the advantage of being able to move around the city without alerting the Polis- they can do legwork, intel gathering, and so on, where our team can't. Though...I am wary about putting our trust in a group of strangers. I'll probably find some way for them to test themselves, or something. Maybe make one of them on the same level as the rest of my colleagues, or something. I'll figure it out later- more pressing matters right now.

So, all I have to do is finish this device, recruit a bunch of strangers to come back to Phaeton, use them to do intel and even break into government HQ if so necessary, and find out more about the Switch and if there's a way to reverse it!
Oh, and take down the evil government so we can return Phaeton to a better time, that too.
Shouldn't be any trouble at all!

Hey, would you describe her as a no-nonsense individual? How about uncompromising?

Asking because I'm trying to hear her voice in my head, so I can describe it to potential voice actors.

If she can understand the situation, then she might be willing to compromise- however, unless she can be made aware of this, she'll believe her side/opinion/ideas to be the best- basically, if you think your idea/opinion is better, you'll need proof to back it up, since she's very logical minded and tends to approach things from a proof/verification mentality

such a cool char ;3; def wanting to join now 8D im working on my char sheet and a bit of the audition.
i do have a question, however. does her portable...uh...portal gun? does it make just one portal, which you travel in and out of between worlds? or does it have to make two portals, one for entering a new world and one for returning? and is the pad needed with the portable device, or does it operate on its own (like in Star Trek)?

Just one portal, and, its the portal to return only. Stepping on the pad is how they teleport OUT of Phaeton/rebel HQ. She then fires the gun, creating the return portal which, once they step through it, they'll rematerialize on the pad again.
